Thanks for the help. Did this option change from the default from the previous version or something? I never used to have this problem, and haven't fiddled with any of the settings between update either.

This fixed the problem for me:

Use in-memory collection" option in the Settings > Advanced Settings window? You'll need to restart DisplayFusion after enabling that setting, but it should make the random selection much better.

I just upgraded to the latest version of displayfusion today, 6.1, and I immediately started having issues. This program has never given me problems in the past, but as soon as I updated to this version my wallpapers no longer randomly selected from my images. They now always choose the first folder, beginning with "A" in my images folder, and regularly show the same few images as wallpapers.
