You can run that installer directly overtop of your steam install and it should keep your license key. Following the steps below should fix that:

• Install the latest version from Steam
• Run the v9.8 installer over top

Also just out of curiosity, are you currently on Windows 10 or Windows 11?

I've attached a link below to roll back to v9.8 if you would like, but please note it does not include any of our updates for Windows 11.
