That's why i'm thinking I'm missing a setting I have to do first. Also the lines for the settings are highlighted red.

Shortcut Height, Width, and Gap Size don't seem to do anything? I'm trying to make my shortcuts about half the size of the active icons and almost touching.

Is there something I have to set first?
Yes I've restarted DF and my computer to test.
