Excellent - thank you for the reproduction steps. Can you also let me know what all of your Taskbar settings are? Even a screenshot of the Settings window would work. If DisplayFusion detected the drag-over it would have logged an entry in the log file. It seems that it's not even detected the drag-over. I'll try to reproduce this today, and your taskbar settings will help as well. Thanks!

<br/>
Nothing of interest in debugging log (attached) following "Windows Taskbar Item Added."<br/>
<br/>
Repro steps to produce log:<br/>
[list type=decimal]<br/>
<li>Open Notepad in Windows 7 RC 1.</li>
<li>Move to secondary monitor.</li>
<li>Minimize.</li>
<li>Open Explorer.</li>
<li>Start DisplayFusion, verify Notepad is on secondary taskbar.</li>
<li>Drag-and-drop a .TXT file from Explorer window to the Notepad button on secondary taskbar, hovering over the button without releasing the mouse button.</li>
<li>No effect.</li>
<li>Release the mouse button.</li>
<li>No effect.</li>
[/ul]<br/>
<br/>
I have Visual Studio on this machine if you'd like to take a closer look sometime. The firewall will probably prevent Remote Debugging from getting through, but we can use a screen-sharing app and point to remote PDBs and source.

That's very strange that the file drag/drop still isn't working for you. The bar with the circle mouse cursor over the DisplayFusion taskbar button is ok, because you're not supposed to actually drop the file there. When you are dragging a file over the DisplayFusion taskbar items do they activate (come ot the foreground)?<br/>
<br/>
I think the reason that DisplayFusion is installed to the x86 folder is because it is using a 32bit installer. The DisplayFusion process itself should be running as an x64 process, and it will use it's own x64 hook DLL as well. There shouldn't be anything to worry about here, it's just a cosmetic installation thing. <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-smile.light.svg" alt=":)" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":)" HelpButtonDataAlign="BelowMiddle" />

<br/>
Also, a minor nitpick -- shouldn't DisplayFusion install to \Program Files by default on a 64-bit machine, rather than to \Program Files (x86)? It is, after all, running natively in some sense.
