If you do run into trouble with it again, you can setup the Desktop Icon Profiles so that they automatically load on startup as well. Here are the instructions for that:

• Setup your icons the way you want them
• Right-click the DisplayFusion tray icon, navigate to Desktop Icons > Save Profile > New Profile and save the layout
• Open the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration
• Click the Save button and save your monitor layout as a new Monitor Profile
• Click the Manage Monitor Profiles button, and in that window, assign your Desktop Icon Profile to the Monitor Profile
• Reboot to test it out

It seems that once the icons "stick" after any reboot, they work from that point on. If they get jumbled again, I'll try your suggestion of removing the bottom-most row on both monitors and see if that fixes it.

I've attached a screenshot of how I've placed them along with a screenshot of where they're at after a reboot.

Note that in the "after" pic, ALL the icons are on the left (#2) monitor and nothing at all on #1. If I (re)load the desired desktop icon profile, everything is OK.

One other thing: I had to restore my system to an image I took on 6/8, and when I first booted that image DF updated from whatever beta version had been released then to V6.0. I don't know if there was anything in that version jump that mattered. Also, the desktop icon profile I'm using was created in V6.0 because I thought an older profile might be the issue. It wasn't

EDIT: I had been using the current nVidia WHQL driver (337.88 ) on my Asus GTX780Ti GPU, but I just installed the new Beta driver (340.43) and the icons now stay in place after rebooting!

EDIT #2: I had to restore the system image again, and this time updating the NVidia driver has no effect - the icon positions are still scrambled after rebooting. I had no trouble with my desktop icons all the way up to Beta 10 or 11, but since I've installed the v6 release (or possibly beta 11), the icon positions are lost after every reboot and I have to manually (re)load the icon profile.

I have two identical 1920x1080 monitors and the icons all end up on monitor 2 instead of being spread out on both monitors. This is on a win8.1 Pro x64 with an Asus GTX780Ti card (w/current nVidia 337.88 WHQL driver). I've attached the troubleshooting results in case that would be helpful. ]]>
