For the folks who were having issues with Bins, the Bins developer has posted an updated version at the link below that fixes up the issue:
After a few days of using 3.5 it still crashes. Not quite as much as it used to but still pretty frequently. Mostly after lengthy inactivity. As an example, I woke up today and went to my browser (which is on the extended desktop) and clicked the icon on the taskbar. It didn't open and it then greyed out (the taskbar) then brought up a window telling me it had ceased to respond. Waiting for it to respond does nothing. Closing and restarting is the only option at that point.

I've gone back to 3.4.0, as it doesn't seem to have this problem.

Ok, same version I'm testing with here. DisplayFusion's CPU usage seems to go up a couple percent when Bins is running, but it seems that a lot of other programs increase their CPU usage when Bins is running as well.

I noticed that with a bunch of programs open but idle when Bins is not running, the total CPU usage on my system was around 5-10%, with DisplayFusion at 0-1%. After launching Bins, the total CPU usage on my system went up to 25-30% and stayed there consistently, with DisplayFusion around 3-4%.

Not quite sure what to make of those results yet, but I'll definitely investigate it further.
I've encountered the same performance and crashing problems with 3.4.1 and the 3.5 beta. I've downgraded to 3.4.0 and have encountered no problems yet...knock on wood.
And, 3.4.0 isn't quite right in the performance area either. It's running between 8% and 20% CPU utilization.
This, combined with the two year old request for wallpaper spanning (see http://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/?ID=bb30d508-00d0-424b-a815-d9736af5c563) has me seriously considering alternatives to DisplayFusion.
