It looks like you have Start11 installed, this is a known issue but it's not something we can fix from our end unfortunately. You can turn on "Enable Prompt to Restart Explorer when Issue Detected" in the DisplayFusion Advanced Settings, and it should prompt to restart explorer when the windows drop behind the taskbar.

I just updated to the 10.0 Beta 18 version and the overlay issue went away for me with Chrome and Slack (Chrome 108.0.5359.125 (Official Build) (64-bit)).

Not sure if other apps were having the same overlay issue, but Chrome and Slack are the apps I always have open and it was as major pain. I can confirm that (using 9.7). On Edge (the browser I use) too, after update 87. Though, on Opera it doesn't work (even though it's based on Chromium, I believe). Firefox is getting it to hide too, and Internet Explorer too. I have Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer installed and the only one not working on 9.7 is Opera (at least from the ones I have installed). But maybe it's fixed alreaedy on 9.7.1 Beta 6, no idea.

PS: all browsers are up-to-date (checked before commenting).
PS 2: when I say Edge, I'm talking the Chromium based one. I don't have the older one, so I can't test with that one.
