Keith I ran into this similar issue. Mouse cursor would meet resistance between 2 of my 4 displays. Slow mouse movement it would not cross over but a hard move the cursor would cross the threshold.
Checking DisplayFusion monitor config I found a small gap between the displays in monitor configuration. Adjusting the displays closer fixed the problem.
However, after closing the DisplayFusion window, the problem would return.
The problem I found is Windows Display settings also allow you to arrange displays and if there is a small gap in between the displays there, it would also cause the mouse cursor to pause when crossing screens.
It would work better if DisplayFusion can override the Windows Display arrangement settings instead of existing separately. The way it works right now, you need to check and adjust both setting locations to ensure there are no gaps in between displays to cause the mouse cursor not to cross screens smoothly.

No idea what causes it. it's a very minor annoyance and my users have been educated on how disable and re-enable Display Fusion to resolve the issue. Our machines are loaded with a variety of productivity apps and I have yet to find a common thread. I will keep looking, however, and post if I learn anything.

I forgot to post an update on Tom's issue which we resolved via email. His Windows display settings had the monitors positioned slightly offset vertically.

@Ingo: There is a HotKey in DisplayFusion that allows the mouse cursor to be locked to the current monitor. Could you check the HotKeys tab to see if there is a Key Combination assigned to the "Lock/Unlock Mouse Cursor to Current Monitor" HotKey? Note that this was only added in 3.3.1, so if you're still trying out 3.3.0, that HotKey won't exist.
I'm having the same issue with two different users. identical dual monitors at same resolution, running windows 7 64 bit. Since installing 3.3.1 - occasionally mouse will not cross to other monitor. the only recourse is to exit Display Fusion and then all works well. I've removed and reinstalled on both machines 2 weeks ago and one of them exhibited the same behavior today.

Tomorrow I will remove 3.3.1 and then install 3.3.0 and monitor for a couple of weeks and repost.

To note, I have about 15 other users with identical configs that have never experienced this issue so its a bit of a stumper.
