Installed v10 Beta 23 yesterday and had a hang today (clearly a big difference from Beta 22). After restarting PC, I see 4 DF processes, and I captured dump files for all. The DF process and DF Service process both have dump files larger than 50MB, which is the max file size I can upload via this forum. Suggestions on how to proceed?

Conditions to create a hang; I think these are necessary, but not sufficient, meaning these conditions don't guarantee a hang, but make it much more likely:

1. As noted earlier, hangs usually seem to happen when switching from 2-mon to 6-mon profile. Don't think it's ever happened in reverse. It may be possible to induce hang going from 1-mon or 4-mon profile to 6-mon, but I rarely do that, as 2 and 6 mon profiles are by far the ones I use and switch between the most.

2. Hang usually seems to happen under the following sequence: put PC to sleep while in 2-mon profile, wake PC up, then switch to 6-mon profile. If it doesn't hang at this point, then I can switch back to 2-mon, then back to 6-mon and it does not hang.

I will now install v10.1, Beta 3.

This morning 5/4 Thursday, v10 Beta 23 locked up the PC when I tried to switch from my 2-monitor profile to my 6-monitor profile. So I moved back down to Beta 21.

So it seems something between beta 21 and beta 27 changed that is affecting my setup. I have 4 x QHD monitors and 2 x 4k monitors, and several monitor profiles, though I most often switch between a 2-monitor profile and 6-monitor profile. ]]>
