I know it's on the list, but I'm just replying to say this latter point about multiple desktop support is a little frustrating

In 'All taskbars show relevant windows', with 3 monitors, I can't use Windows 10 virtual desktops because the two secondary monitors both keep all of their windows, thus rendering the feature redundant, and if I change the taskbar mode, the primary taskbar is unusable with that many entries.

I feel like Display Fusion used to have a feature to entirely replace even the primary taskbar, which might have helped with this, or am I imagining it?

This issue is currently on our list to fix up. For some reason, windows that have been removed from the Primary taskbar (like ones that have been moved to a DF taskbar) don't register in Task View any more. There is a workaround, which is to set the Taskbar Mode on the Settings > Taskbar tab to "Windows taskbar shows all windows..." It's definitely not ideal, but hopefully a decent compromise until we can find a way to fix it up in the future

Now I am getting confused.

Prior to the installation of Display Fusion on Windows 10, when I brought up Alt-Tab with multiple desktops active, I could drag an application from either monitor on my active desktop, to another monitor on a different desktop. Now that I have Display Fusion installed, when I bring up Alt-Tab, Windows only shows me one monitor per desktop. It is as though Windows is under the impression, that I have a single monitor.

Previously, when I changed desktops, the windows on both monitors transitioned as they switched virtual desktops. Now, only the primary monitor transitions when I switch, and the secondary monitor acts as though it is not a member of any desktop, but is a standalone entity to itself.

Do I have a Display Fusion option set incorrectly or in a manner which would explain this behavior? I'm still a newbie, so forgive me if this is blatantly obvious, but I have no success getting both monitors to participate fully in virtual desktops.

What I was referring to, I think DisplayFusion already does by selecting "All Taskbars show relevant windows". But, in Windows 10, one thing that is markedly different about the taskbars, is that only one taskbar shows the "Search the web and Windows" search box. I sometimes have problems where, for no apparent reason, the monitor on which this shows will toggle from primary to secondary, and the only work around I have found to return it to the primary monitor, is to disable the secondary monitor, then re-enable the secondary monitor

It would be great if DisplayFusion had an option to enable/disable a search box on each taskbar. For example, I may wish the search box visible only when I am on Desktop 1, but none of my other specialized desktops. Or I may want it on the primary monitor on desktop 1, but the secondary on desktop 2.

Another addition to desktops which Microsoft failed to support, is the concept of a different desktop icon/application set on each desktop which can be persisted between sessions. Ideally, when I log on to Windows, it should restore my multi-desktop configuration to what it was when I logged off. But since I organize my desktops by activity (finance, music, video, etc), a different set of applications on each desktop would be ideal. A desktop specialized to the activity for which I am currently performing, would be great.

I'm a new user to Display Fusion, so forgive me if this functionality exists, but I have not come across it in my attempts to locate it.

When I got Windows 10, I was pleased and dissapointed in their implementation of multiple desktops. I use the feature regularly by organizing what I am doing along desktop lines. Mail and Internet on Desktop 1. Music on Desktop 2, Photo Processing on Desktop 3. Virtual Machines on desktop 4, etc. This works well. Where I was dissapointed was that I would have liked the taskbar to be reflective of what is active on each desktop. I'd also like a different wallpaper on each desktop so I can easily identify which top I am on with less effort than having to bring up the desktop task view. This type of functionality would appear to fit in well with what Display Fusion is renowned for; superior utilization and enhancement of the Windows desktop experience.

Thanks for a great product.
