That's unfortunately an issue with Chrome when using a custom theme. Unfortunately the only workaround is to set Chrome to the default theme. Normally that junk around the outside would actually be off of the monitor (due to the way that maximizing works in Windows), but when constrained to a split, we can't put all four sides off the monitor, so you'll see the weird stuff around the edges.<br/>
