WIndows 10 hardly supports themes anymore, you can only change the color and wallpaper, whereas in Windows 7 you can change a whole lot more. WindowBlinds can't skin the jump list but it can skin the taskbar buttons and things. It would be nice to get skinning the jump list and buttons in DisplayFusion in a later version though. Thanks!

Edit: And if that happens I will replace the Windows taskbar with the DisplayFusion one, for more features.

Hi Isaac,
Interesting, I spoke with our developers over this, and unfortunately our jump lists/previews can't load the theme data.

Windows 7 used themes fully, and DisplayFusion was able to support them. Windows 10 doesn't use themes the same way, so there's no standard way for us to do this. I've added this to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.

Thanks!

Yes, I use OpenShell and WindowBlinds to skin the taskbar, on DisplayFusion the taskbar takes the start button and taskbar texture sucessfully but the window previews, jump lists and open application buttons still look like Windows 10. Also not related but the clock when set to black using advanced settings (0,0,0) shows up as a hard to read light blue color. I settled on white instead.

This isn't something DisplayFusion supports, but there are other 3rd party applications like Start10, or OpenShell that do.
Thanks!

I have DisplayFusion on my Windows 7 and 10 machines. I have a windows 7 theme on my Windows 10 machine but DisplayFusion does not seem to use the theme on the taskbar buttons, jump lists and window previews. On Windows 7 this shows up using the Windows 7 theme built in. Is there a way to switch the DisplayFusion taskbar to use the Windows 7 style on Windows 10 (aka the one it shows in Windows 7 by default).
