Unfortunately if this script won't adjust the window there aren't any other options as far as DisplayFusion can help. Some windows just don't play well when external applications mess with their borders.

Visual Studio Code. The program only has an option to no display the title bar when the application is in full screen rather then any window size.

It's not a UWP, the program has a regular title bar as most recognize; among other common applications ?

It sounds like you're trying to use this script on a Universal App (the newer Windows 10-style apps) and unfortunately it's just not possible to do this with those style apps.

There is a scripted function you can download that should do what you're looking for though. On the Settings > Functions tab, click Scripted Function > Download Scripted Function, and download the one called "Toggle Borders and Caption From Window." You can set a key combination on it, and then run that on the window to get rid of the titlebar.

It doesn't remove the titlebar, rather it just makes the window full screen without removing the titlebar. Also I want to remove the titlebar regardless of the window size.

No, there are no buttons, no title bar; nothing. I'm trying to hide the title bar in another application; with this other program, same setting turned on within the configuration but the title bar doesn't hide ?

That will make it match houdini.exe regardless of which directory it is in.

It turns out the application doesn't co-operate when the setting is enabled from within DisplayFusion.

I noticed the version number is in the path for the app, maybe it updated to a newer version so the path doesn't match any more.

Could you try changing the path to just

*houdini.exe

?

That will make it match houdini.exe regardless of which directory it is in.

It would be really nice if right clicking on a TitleBar button in a given app provided to option to add that specific app to the "no show" list right then and there. No sifting through the settings and manipulating long piped strings necessary.

Yep! On the Settings > Compatibility tab, add a rule with the "Disable TitleBar Buttons (this application)" option enabled.

You can put multiple applications in the same rule by separating their paths with a pipe symbol, like this:

*excel.exe|*notepad.exe|*calc.exe

Is it possible to disable the TitleBar buttons on a per-app basis?

I have a few apps where the TitleBar buttons don't really make sense for that app, and also, they overlap directly onto some of the app's own buttons
