I've checked in with our developers, and this is actually expected. When we set the size value of the window, we have to do some calculations based on the scaling level, but there can be some rounding errors in some situations. Windows does some funky stuff depending on screen size/resolution/scaling level, and we haven't been able to find and correct for every combination of the above. The gap looks to be 2px, so that would be 1px from each split, which would definitely be the rounding issue.

At some point we may be able to fix that up, but at the moment this is expected.

My laptop screen had the side issue with file explorer as well as Total. I've tested with your monitor config, scaling levels, and split layout, but can't reproduce the gaps in the middle or at the edge with 9.7 Beta 14. The apps I was testing with in the splits were Notepad, Notepad++, and File Explorer.

On the screens which are split with DF (laptop and TV), the right side window does not extend all the way to the edge. Is this something in my settings or just the way it is? ]]>
