it is a bit better (the tab stays outside) but the issue with the background flashing in the colour of "windows colour" still persists.

it did not help. But I found out that the detached tab will stay on the screen if I don't move my mouse after detaching. If I keep moving my mouse the tab will flip back. Yup, that's the right one! If you open up your Display Fusion Settings, and head to the compatibility tab, can you add edge and check off "Disable application Hooks", and see if the issue persists?
