I'd imagine they're handled differently. We've added this to our list to investigate further, and if we're able to fix it up in a future version, we'll be sure to let you know.

Please could you make it so that the number that shows on top of Win10 apps specifically the Mail app, show on the pinned taskbar icon.
They do not show on the display fusion task bar.

I have added 2 images, one showing the default taskbar, the other is display fusion. ]]>
