I would say the UI could be arranged into two list boxes - you create/select the shortcut command in the left-listbox, and then the actions associated with it list in the right-listbox in the order that they are cycled through.

Then there would just be a brief timer (maybe 1-sec, maybe user-tunable), and if that shortcut was pressed within 1-timerinterval of itself, the next action in the list would happen.

For new users, if this was too confusing it could be disabled by default - or they just wouldn't have to add more than one action per keyboard shortcut.

Yeah, that is a workable solution, but it removes possibilities for using those modifiers for other options - say Ctrl + Shift + A moves and sizes the window one monitors, and Ctrl + Alt + A performs the same operation but on a different monitor.

There is a limit to convenient key combinations, and it seems like a shame to occupy them with very similar actions.

I actually got this idea from another program (http://www.winsplit-revolution.com/) which uses this system in its default setup. No clue how they implemented it, though.

Either way, thanks for your response!
For instance, I have several very similar hotkeys... they all move a window to the upper-left corner, but they size the window differently (maybe 1/2 the width, maybe 1/3 the width and 1/2 the height... etc etc) ... Rather than having a unique hotkey for all of these combinations, I would prefer to assign them all to one hotkey, and be able to tap the hotkey combination several times in succession to cycle through the various independent actions that were tied to that combo.

I'm not sure if that was actually any more clear... Let me know if it's still confusing, I can draw a little diagram or something

I have many similar hotkeys - for instance, 1) Move to left side, take up 1/2 screen. 2) Move to left side, take up 1/3 screen. 3) Move to left side, take up 1/4 screen. etc etc...

It would be really nice if I could assign multiple actions to one Key Combination in HotKeys. That way, I could hit this combination a few times, and it would cycle through all the actions assigned to it. I'm guessing that this could be a little tricky, since HotKeys allow some features/actions that would not translate into cycling through multiple entries, but I would prefer to have the option
Thanks for all the great work on this awesome software!
