The titlebar button windows are created using something called layered windows (WS_EX_LAYERED) which may have something to do with it. They don't behave like standard windows. I'm going to mark this topic as complete for now, as there isn't much I can do about Camtasia.

Layered windows is also why you can't (easily) capture a picture of a video that's playing in Windows Media Player. You would think if you can see it.... <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-grimace.light.svg" alt=":?" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":?"
Camtasia works properly otherwise; it's just that it doesn't show your buttons. Unless somebody is specifically documenting titlebar buttons it doesn't really matter. If they are documenting them, as I was, you gotta wonder why. Probably best that it doesn't work..., eh?

Found another, I guess. I wanted to demonstrate with DF at high priority that the buttons still slide around like they attached on gel mounts when you move a window. I started Camtasia recorder and the buttons, while they appear during recording, are not captured! Odd. Don't know if there's anything to do about it, other than to note it, I thought I would report it.
