Ok, unfortunately the only other solution is to use a different antivirus. We've tried several times to reach out to Bitdefender to try and work with them to fix this up, but they've never gotten back to us. For some reason, when their heuristics DLL is loaded into DisplayFusion, it leaks memory, but when we debug it, it's not DisplayFusion code that's causing the leak, so their DLL is doing something to cause this. We've done all we can from our end to try and fix it up

its never happened before, this is the first time.

Second Edit; NO i cannot add an exception, i do not have that kind of control with this version of Bitdefender.

Thanks! I noticed you're running BitDefender. BitDefender loads a DLL into DisplayFusion that causes it to leak memory. Are you able to add DisplayFusion.exe to the exclusions in BitDefender?

had to restart display fusion once again, as it was at 1600 MB of RAM usage after 24 hours Up Time

another bit of info. The CPU Usage is ALWAYS floating around 1.2-3.5%

This screenshot is 4 Hours after a cold boot this morning around 6AM.

Could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info?

Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button

after 24 hours of up time the RAM usage is now just shy of 2.0 GB of RAM.

hey guys, first time posting here, long time DF user.

i reverted back from Win 10 AU ( Anniversary update ) Build 1607 after it borked my entire system and several games to absolute NON-Working status to Windows 8.1 Pro WMC x64.

well as usual i installed the new DF 8.0 and i have been noticing something.

i run MSI Afterburner for when my games are up for hardware stats monitoring.

i have noticed the OSD for RAM Usage gets higher and higher as the day goes on. i have tracked it back to Display Fusion.

since there is a 50MB limit for attachments, i am sending a dump file from the Display Fusion executable itself to my google drive soon while i sleep tonight i will upload it. i apologize, as my charter ISP is sorry for uploads. ( 4 MBit up <-- LMAO ! but i get 67 MBit down. )

Can someone help me figure out why Display Fusion over time get to be a process as large as 2.7 GB of RAM?

i am a IT Guy myself, but i specialize in Hardware and Networking, i have ZERO programming skills or even debugging skills with software.

There is a screenshot also after 12 hours, Display Fusion is using over 600 MB of RAM. as time goes on, this RAM Amount gets higher by random amounts but within 300-800k increments.
