and then lastly,
it just occurred to me that i have switched to a different router sometime in the last couple years, so new wifi connections and everything. maybe the router is the culprit?

I haven't been using DF for long, but the Android app was working when I first started and was up until beta 16, I think.

The app still responds fine for me(on Android 12), it just can't connect to the current version of DF. At any rate, we'll be sure to let you know when we get it sorted out.

my remote app used to work on my android phone, now it keeps timing out.
Problem started on my old phone (android 10) and persists after switching to a new one (android 11). When I open the app, it's unresponsive and I have to wait 15 seconds before I can even click on the menu (Help/about). When I click on connect, initially nothing happens for 10 seconds, then I get a black screen again for 10 seconds, then my phone shows me "DisplayFusion Remote not responding" and lets me choose to "Close the app" or "wait" or "give feedback". If I wait, then the menu loads after another good 10 seconds. When I select a Profile, again, 15 seconds of nothing, then the not responding message shows up, then something starts happening on my PC, the profile gets loaded.

It used to be, on my old phone, that I open the app, immediately click connect, it loads with no delay, I can load my profile within seconds. Something seems to have happened along the way to change that, maybe an update? ]]>
