We'll review the default settings but for now they'll stay as is. We try to make the default settings so that the DisplayFusion taskbar will look like the Windows taskbar by default, but we also added in the options in case people want to tweak it themselves.

With this said, maybe you can make a dialog when enabling/adding a new taskbar, asking if you want to "import" (e.g. mimic) the main taskbar features.
Just thinking like a new user.

That is why I reverted back to forcing the clock to the right-hand side. It's easy enough for a power-user like yourself to change though. You can customize anything in DisplayFusion to suit your needs, but by default they will be set to mimic Windows.

Sure. When I add a new display with a taskbar, the default settings for example the clock is set to "Right". The Start Menu background colour is a known issue and will be fixed in one of the next few beta versions
@jerone: could you clarify this request? Set all settings from a new taskbar default on "Automatic"
I don't think there's anything we can do about the Windows Start button showing the pressed image but if there is we'll make sure to fix it
I've added your vote to an existing request for the Windows key to open the Start menu on the active display
I've added the option to minimize only the windows on the active display when Win+D is pressed

Press to open the DF Start menu shows the Windows Start button also as pressed.
This doesn't not happen with the hover or when you press to open the Windows Start menu with the DF Start button.

Never seen this in any taskbar before.

One small bug; missing a background in the Start menu, see attachment.

One suggestion; catch the Winkey button and show the Start menu in the active display.

Other suggestions:
- Set all settings from a new taskbar default on "Automatic".
- An option to catch the Winkey+D shortcut and minimize only the active display.
