Not sure if you like hiding the task bar or not but it may be a good compromise if that glitch bugs you like it did me.

Desktop backgrounds are different for each desktop, and as you can see in these screenshots, the taskbar is showing a wrong background (just his left side, where is using as background the image configured for the secondary monitor):<br/>
