I'm not sure I started in the 70's with cpl and tape Ive been here I think from the start. I hate to say this but I would expect better from this company! I'm on linux on all my computers now and hope to get my paid for copy of software to run in some way it wouldn't be that hard now. I have had it running in cachyos but there are some road block. winboat work wine if you take a lot of time to get it running poorly. wine converts to posics not sure thats spelled right. All i'm saying there are many with windows running on linux. Game would be a hard thing to port but there are thousands now! There is so much help out to do this now it a shame that were stuck in windows macrohard working on this as well. microslop is lossing fast. They have a new ver. comming out to try to please ppl not to leave a lot are not EVER COMING BACK TO THE LIES I HAVE HAD TO MAKE MY SELL BELEAVE THAT THER NOT TOTAL SPYWARE SOME HAVE LOOKED INTO THIS CODE AND MANY THINGS STILL THERE AND ON EVEN WHEN YOU EXPLICITLY TURN IT OFF AND SOME ARE HIDDEN SO DEEP! i HAVE ALMOST 50 YEAR OF THIS NOW IT TIME TO LET THE SYPING COMPANYS KNOW WHATS COMING! sorry for the hate I've had enough!!!!!!!!!!!! This company has some of the best tools on earth and if they don't want to help i'm done with windows software as well!!!!!!!!!!!<br/>

<div class="BackGrey"><div class="Text"><div><b>Quote:</b></div>After using Linux for nearly 10 years, and seeing the differences in distros, graphics hardware, and display servers, I can honestly say that something like this might not be an easy task.<br/>
<br/>
In Windows, the underlying handler for changing display configurations really doesn't change, and DisplayFusion uses that handler to do the work.<br/>
<br/>
In Linux, the handler can change based on display server, graphics hardware, drivers, and possibly distros.<br/>
<br/>
While this is true, a Linux version of DisplayFusion would still be a welcome enhancement for any Linux user that uses multiple displays. I'm still rooting for this. <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-smile.light.svg" alt=":)" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":)" /></div></div></div></div>

I know there is a request for linux user have access to DisplayFusion. I'm one of them. I am not transferring to Windows 11 as my computer and laptop are to old to transition to the new version. I'm old school, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it."<br/>
<br/>
I have had DisplayFusion for many years, but my largest reason for it, is that I use 5 monitors at my desk. I'm sure I will add one monitor to my laptop when I am out somewhere, but it is at my desktop where I like it best.<br/>
<br/>
I know we are in August of 2025. I know there have been requests for years. I know I am not a programmer. <br/>
<br/>
But I do have a question, Is there anyone that is able to help in some way make this awesome program work with Linux Mint? <br/>
<br/>
The concept of not having different images on multiple screens is depressing.

Latte-Dock is a fail. After a little while of using it, apps started crashing when launched from it, not to mention other problems that started cropping up with it. Stopping it, and re-adding the default panel was the only solution. Still hoping for a Linux port of DisplayFusion. <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-smile.light.svg" alt=":)" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":)" /><br/>
<br/>
<div class="BackGrey"><div class="Text"><div><b>Quote:</b></div>This is just an idea. Have you ever thought that a latte "dock" can also be everything else and use it as a standard "Default Panel" in KDE? You can move that thing at the bottom of the screen or pretty much anywhere and make it look and act however you like. The round corners are the choice in this particular screen but when you open a full-sized window, it actually straightens up at the top so that the user can utilize the whole screen efficiently.<br/>
<br/>
The greatest advantage of it is that you can instruct how and where different programs show. For example move their so called "quick" launch icons between different monitors, so that those monitors are aware that this is the same program etc. The options are unlimited really.<br/>
<br/>
<div class="BackGrey"><div class="Text"><div><b>Quote:</b></div>A dock is not what I want. To me a dock is too much like Gnome or MacOS. I'm a long time Windows user, and prefer the Windows-esque interface that KDE plasma brings with it.<br/>
<div class="BackGrey"><div class="Text"><div><b>Quote:</b></div>Have you tried <a href="https://github.com/KDE/latte-dock" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><b>Latte!</b></a>? It's supported again. Latte + shortcuts inside the KDE settings + a little bit of scripting did it for me. Wayland in my experience didn't do the trick and wasn't stable or sufficient.</div></div></div></div></div></div>

Definitely want to upvote this request. Additional arguments to consider for supporting Linux<br/>
- If Microsoft continues implementing invasive technologies that compromise user privacy (Recall), the people that chose to move to Linux will be forced to abandon your app.<br/>
- If more of the gaming and multi-media community moves to Linux to have have more control over their systems, those people will also be forced to abandon your app.<br/>
<br/>
As someone who fits in both of these categories, I think it would be a wise move on Binary Fortress' part to expand DisplayFusion support to Linux.

I actually ended up installing this, and configuring it to work just like the existing panel. I do like the change in how it displays open apps with dits, as opposed to KDE's default way. For display change configs, I added a "on/off" button widget that changes between two display configs via script runs, but that's still not quite ideal, because the button image won't update if I run one manually from the terminal (such as a 3rd config).<br/>

The greatest advantage of it is that you can instruct how and where different programs show. For example move their so called "quick" launch icons between different monitors, so that those monitors are aware that this is the same program etc. The options are unlimited really.</div></div>

Honestly i haven't used Linux for years now but only because i can't use many tools windows has, and displayfusion is one of them (then we have Razer and Asus softwares for mouse and keyboard, strokesplus for gestures, etc etc)<br/>
<br/>
About displayfusion if would be enough a version that includes only the most used features like monitor configuration

In Linux I've been using terminal scripts I made to change my display configuration, while either dragging windows to other screens, or using the titlebar's context menu for 2 clicks (can be hard to read on smaller displays.)<br/>

Built-in options within KDE (or nvidia settings for nvidia users) are nowhere near as fast or convenient as what DisplayFusion offers for display configuration, or moving windows between screens... At least not as far as I've seen.</div></div>
