There are tools to do lossless jpg cropping and lossless jpg joining. If similar functionality is available to you perhaps it could be used if the image is the correct dimensions?

You may be able to speed up the wallpaper creation process also. It takes my machine 8 seconds to move to the next wallpaper on average at 50% CPU usage (dual core).

The original Wallpaper.jpg is 2MB but the Wallpaper (no extension) is 18MB.

It seems that even though we're not compressing/scaling/cropping the image at all, there is somehow still some quality loss when we generate the final PNG image. I am getting blurriness on all my wallpapers though.

The originals are much, much smaller than the ones in the AppData folder. People, grass and trees are good places to compare but the whole image is blurry.

It also takes a quite a long time to switch to the next wallpaper. Possibly because instead of a 2MB jpg it is working with a 18MB jpg.

I have a Wallpaper_# file (no extension) approx 18MB in file size and if I load into an Image Viewer it is 5760x1080.

If I open either file this is the currently displayed wallpaper but the sections are not in the correct order.

Both these files are blurry.

The original wallpaper is only 1.8MB in size. DisplayFusion's files are large in comparison and blurry.

If the original wallpapers and your working files will be helpful let me know and I will share them somewhere.

I have attached a screenshot which shows the difference between the wallpaper and viewing the raw jpg file.

On the left I am displaying the original wallpaper at 100% magnification. On the right you can see the wallpaper that has been applied by DisplayFusion.

I am using three monitors 1920 x 1080 and this is monitor 1 on the far right (2 in middle, 3 on the left).

Look at the people and you can easily notice the fuzzyness or blurriness compared to the original.
You can also tell reasonably easily the rocks and trees are also blurry.

Can you confirm you are using some kind of lossless crop (and not one that creates fuzzy/blurriness) to generate the 3 separate images?

It is a pity I have hi-res wallpapers but can't get the full enjoyment out of them.
