It has the right to be installed on one employer-owned computer of which you are the sole user. Given that employers will likely get annoyed if you installed Steam on your work machine this could be an issue.

I got the more expensive Pro Personal licence for this reason. Once downloaded through Steam you dont need to open Steam again as the DF software runs independantly or at least it does on my system. Some software seems to run a bit slower, or have more bugs on the steam versions so it'd be nice to hear people's experiences before making the purchase. ]]>
