If you enable the "Wallpaper: Use Interal Wallpaper Processing" option in the Advanced Settings, it should prevent that from happening.

On the 2nd of two Monitors, i set a random slideshow with lots of pics from a few different folders.
With every change the mousecursor shows loading for a second. Thats disturbing during work.
