I know we currently don't support sizing and scaling with video wallpapers, but we do have this open as a feature request, so I've added your vote to it.

That's interesting that the first codec you used auto adjusted the sizing though. It's possible some codecs support scaling and some don't. I'll do a bit of digging, and if I have any more information on it, I'll be sure to post here.

Not the resolution from the monitor, but the videos. Before installing those codecs the video covered all the screen. The RAM seems more stable now.
Remember that this videos were made for vertical screens. And now they are playing like if they were horizontal. Here is a screenshot.
I have a x64 installation of windows 10. I've tried to install only the codecs for x64 but then, those videos wont play and the screen goes blank. So I installed the full package with x86 and x64. And with only one video extended nothing happens. Almost 2gb RAM consumed. Even with the profile 1 with videos and pictures starts at 2gb RAM.

Could it be the codecs to play wallpaper videos ? Does the issue happen if you have 1 video running on 1 monitor? How about 3 separate videos on 3 separate monitors?

Also, does the ram usage seem worse on profile 1, where the monitors are only running 1 video, compared to monitor 2 where it's 1 video extended across all 3?

I couldnt recreate the error. But then i found out when it happens.
I now have two wallpaper profiles, changing one to another.
Profile 1
Monitor1: Video
Monitor2: Pictures
Monitor3: Video
Profile 2
Monitor1 2 and 3 with only one video extended.

What i discovered is that when i have more than one video in a monitor, DF starts consuming more and more ram. To a point were it freeze a random monitor and messes up the cycle of changing to one profile to another. It even happens with only one profile with two videos in one monitor.

I dont know the time when the bug appear. Can you try going into Windows Settings > Personalization > Colours, and disable "Automatically pick an accent colour from my background" and see if that helps?

If the issue persists, could you send me over a debug log? Here are the steps:

• On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
• Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
• Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
• Reply with the file attached
• Disable debug logging after sending the log

I have the loop configured on 20-30 seconds and im not watching it all the time. I just start the display and leave it alone. Sometimes when it freezes, i reboot the computer and as soon as windows starts the problem appears. It could happen with pictures or with videos .

Dunno if has anything to do with it (Cuz it could happen in any monitor), but my monitors are all HDMI. Only one monitor is connected directly to a HDMI port. The other 2 have a Display Port adapter. But as I stated in the last message, this never happened before, and i been using it for a couple of months without any problem.

A little background:
Im using DF pro 9.7.1
I have Windows 10 pro 20h2 version 10.0.19042.746
GPU: AMD RADEON RX 5600XT
CPU: AMD RYZEWN 5 3600XT
RAM: 32gb ddr4
SSD: 500gb

I have 3 vertical monitors and i use them mostly to play one or two short videos in an endless loop. And sometimes a folder of pictures. Nothing too complicated.
Something like this:
Monitor 1: One Video
Monitor 2: Pictures
Monitor 3: Two Videos
I work on a vacational center, so i use the monitors to show daily activities and pictures of people having fun etc. So because of this, the computer is on 24/7

Everything was working fine but recently i've enconter this problem. From time to time the wallpaper freeze. Maybe its just one monitor, but it could be two or all of them. It could happen really fast after i reset the computer or i can have the it on for a 1 or 2 days and nothing happens.
When it happens if i check the task manager, it shows that the DF process its consuming a lot, but a LOT of memory. Like 20gb or more. What i do is kill the process and then open DF and start the wallpaper display again.

Dunno why is this happening. Nothing changed in the computer in a long time. I have the Windows update disabled and i only use it for DF.
