This issue is related to the issue where taskbar items are momentarily added back to the window taskbar when they are focused or minimized. Once I fix the taskbar items issue, the animation issue should be cleared up as well. I notice that sometimes when I am minimizing or maximizing apps, the transition effects seem to be based on location of the main taskbar, instead of straight down to the extended taskbar. Is that because DF is doing "smoke and mirrors" to keep the task from appearing on the main taskbar (and putting it on the extended taskbar)? It has the most non-standard way of managing it's own taskbar items. It will delete and replace it's own items at will, and when you minimize it it hides it's windows and moves them to the primary monitor. Not very friendly as far as DisplayFusion is concerned. I'm putting some extra checks in place for the next beta, but it's going to take a few days. On monitor 3, if I minimize Excel 2007, it appears on the taskbar of monitor 1 - and not on monitor 3's taskbar. I do have the setting to show relevant windows.

After some additional testing, it appears that Excel's task appears in the taskbar on mon 1 periodically through the day as I am working and moving apps around. This happens on 3.04 and 3.05.05-17-09beta. (Hey Jon - the 3.05 beta dated 5/17/09 reports 5.04 (beta) on the about screen.)

What is "magical" about Excel 2007's windows? Word 2007 does not do this... ]]>
