We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 9.7.0 Beta 3 is now available for download! This version removes the Aero Colour Mode option for performance reasons, adds a new wallpaper source, and fixes up Window Snapping and a few other bugs.

Important Notes!

• The first time you open the Settings > Screen Saver tab after installing this version, it will be very slow to open, due to Windows Defender locking the .scr files for a long time during the initial scan.
• If the auto-updater fails to run, please try disabling your anti-virus before running the updater.

DisplayFusion 9.7.0 Beta 3 Highlights

• Note: Bumped the version number from 9.6.2 to 9.7.0
• Change: Added a filter box to the Window Position Profile edit window
• Change: Removed the Aero Colour Mode option, as it causes performance issues in Windows 10
• Change: Updated Google Photos wallpaper source to their new API (still waiting for approval from Google)
• Change: Added an advanced setting to choose which split is the "primary" monitor
• Change: Wallpaper Image Info text no longer trims blank lines at the start or end of the info

• Fix: Added a delay before loading the audio device assigned to a Monitor Profile
• Fix: Sending F5 to the desktop to refresh it after loading a Monitor Profile
• Fix: Titlebar Button app compatibility improvements
• Fix: Resolved an issue where taskbars on other monitors were forced to the bottom if there was a full screen window on a different monitor
• Fix: Resolved an issue preventing you from switching from the trial key to free version before the trial is expired
• Fix: Resolved Window Snapping issues
• Fix: Resolved an issue where Windows would show more than one entry for DisplayFusion in the taskbar notification area settings
