I just had one of my Video Cards crap out on me, so after removing the offending card and getting both monitors plugged into the remainder, I noticed that Display Fusion had stopped working. I did have to do a "System Repair" after restarting, so I don't know if that may have caused some errors. Regardless, as soon as I start Display Fusion, Windows 7 (x64 Ultimate) hits me with "Display Fusion has stopped working" and I get the following details from the error report:

Description:
Stopped working

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name:CLR20r3
Problem Signature 01: displayfusion.exe
Problem Signature 02:3.4.0.0
Problem Signature 03:4e88c8c3
Problem Signature 04:mscorlib
Problem Signature 05:2.0.0.0
Problem Signature 06:4d8cdc57
Problem Signature 07:1b7e
Problem Signature 08:10
Problem Signature 09:System.IO.FileNotFoundException
OS Version:6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID:1033

Anyone have any thoughts? On the unlikely chance that something had happened to DisplayFusion, I used YourUninstaller to remove it and then re-installed, but that produced the same result (error on launching the application)

It sounds like the .NET Framework may have gotten messed up after the System Restore, could you try doing the following?
  • Backup your DisplayFusion Settings on the Options tab
  • Do a complete DisplayFusion uninstall using Add/Remove Programs
  • From a command prompt, run "sfc /scannow" to repair the .NET Framework
  • Reinstall DisplayFusion
Please let me know how that works out.

Thanks!

In an effort to cleanup the DisplayFusion Discussions, this topic is being marked as Complete as it hasn't received a response for more than 30 days. If you're still having trouble and would like some help, just let me know!

Thanks!
