While the feature works in general, unlike the Windows taskbar, hovering with a drag cursor (that is, when I am dragging a file icon) doesn't cause the DF taskbar to drop down from it's hidden location (I keep mine at the top of the display). It does cause the taskbar buttons to auto-depress, however. As you move the drag cursor, one after another program comes to the foreground.

BTW, the apply button is great for beta testing new features...!

Let me start with the easy point, I'm glad you like the new Apply button. I use it constantly in testing now, and I have no idea why I didn't add it sooner. :)

I don't think I fully understand your issue. It sounds like you have your taskbar hidden at the top of the screen and when you try to drag a file over a taskbar button the taskbar isn't un-hiding. Is this correct? But then you say "As you move the drag cursor, one after another program comes to the foreground." That sounds like the correct behaviour to me, so please help me understand your issue better. Thanks!

You actually understand, but it is confusing you. I'll try again.

[list type=decimal]
  • The DF task bar does not unhide when you are dragging a file at it. This is the only bug.
  • Even though the DF task bar does not unhide, the hidden buttons activate properly and cause windows to come into the foreground.
  • Since you cannot see what taskbar icon you are pointing at, you have to keep dragging until the window you want displays.
  • [/ul]

The DF task bar should unhide when presented a drag cursor and it doesn't. It properly unhides for a normal cursor.

This information is in regards to an older beta version, so I'm locking/archiving this topic. If you experience this issue again with a newer version please re-post and we'll sort it out. Thanks! :)
