I am using Fantastic Ocean 3D Screensaver and it won't start under DF. I tried both with Splash screen saver enabled and disabled. Only black screens. Same when I hit Preview. It works fine on 1 monitor when I disable DF though. I have 3 monitors configuration. It works fine with some other not 3D screensavers I got.

I tested it out on my system, and it doesn't look like the screensaver properly supports preview mode.
If you're able to submit a support request to the maker of the screen saver, you can send them this link which describes what their screen saver needs to do to support preview mode: https://www.binaryfortress.com/KB/ScreenSaverDevelopment/
