It used to be that when I closed my laptop all my desktop icons and Windows Sidebar would shift over to my second monitor and then when I opened my laptop they would switch back again. After installing DisplayFusion this no longer works. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Ok, I restarted the computer and left DisplayFusion turned off (it's not set to come on at computer start up) and my second monitor now becomes my main monitor when I close my laptop. I turned on DisplayFusion and my second monitor still becomes my main monitor when I close my laptop. Problem solved I guess. Anyway I hope everything is fine from here on out as I like what this program does and I want to buy a license.

I'm glad to hear you got your issue cleared up, hopefully it doesn't come back. :)

I'm having the opposite problem (sort of). My desktop icons, sidebar, etc. are moving to the second monitor when I close my laptop, then when I open the laptop, they move back. I want to stop this from occurring, because it takes about 30 seconds to switch everything each time, and the only reason I close my laptop is because I'm done using it and merely want to watch my photoshow on the second monitor. Plus, I leave my windows set up on each monitor the way I like, but after the PC has moved everything to one monitor and then back to the other, I have to go back and re-put everything where I like it. Is there a way to keep the desktop from moving to the second monitor when I close the laptop?

Thanks!

This sounds like something that should be handled by your video card software (CCC with ATI and nView with nVidia). Unfortunately DisplayFusion isn't able to handle this yet.
