I've noticed, since I've been using DisplayFusion that my Start key "sticks" when coming out of a Remote Desktop session. Nope, it's not the keyboard and the problem went away for a coupla weeks when I had to uninstall DF.

Here's what's happening: I switch over to an RDC session on my 2nd monitor and then switch back to my local desktop on my primary monitor. Then, let's say I start typing something... something beginning with the letter "e." If so, Windows Explorer/My Computer comes up... as if I had hit Start+E... the keyboard shortcut to launch Windows Explorer. If I start to type w/ the letter "R," the Run dialog box comes up. And the key doesn't become "un-stuck" until I actually physically hit the Start key to bring up the Start menu (and then again to close it.) Then it's good to go.

I'm using Win7 RC now but the problem was occurring even when I was using Vista. (Not sure about XP.)

This doesn't happen every time I switch to/from but it sure does happen a lot. Any idea what may be causing that?

I haven't ever encountered that, and I have never had anyone else report that issue. You hvae a very strange bug, that's for sure. :) One thing I can suggest is to try disabling the 2 hooks on the Troubleshooting tab in the DisplayFusion Settings window. Some of DisplayFusion's features won't work correctly like this, but I would be interested to see which hook is causing the problem.

In an effort to cleanup the DisplayFusion forum, this topic is being locked and archived because it applies to an older version of DisplayFusion. If you are using the latest version of DisplayFusion and would still like some assistance, please create a new topic and I'll be happy to help you out. Thanks! :)
