I have 3 monitors setup, and I use the Display Fusion taskbar on all of them (also using Taskbar Magic to hide the Windows taskbar). The Start menu has worked sometimes for me but as of right now isn't opening from any monitor all when clicking it. Pressing the Windows key opens it fine on my main monitor. Attached is a short l1 log file where I clicked the Start button ~6 times.

Could you try updating to the latest 9.4 Beta version and let me know if you still run into trouble with the Start menu?

Thanks!

Nope, didn't help. I tried rebooting as well. Here's a new log file if needed.

Ok, thanks for trying that! I'll check out the new log in the morning.

When I use Taskbar Magic in Windows 10 it runs the explorer.exe CPU way up. Have you ever run into that before?

Hmm nope I haven't noticed that, after watching for a few minutes it has stayed at 0% CPU usage. I'm using a version that you posted a few years back with custom settings: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/anyway-to-make-the-df-pro-taskbar-override-the-windows-taskbar/?ID=3d0cad5b-2ab0-4b2d-acbc-cd2b45389c38#6

When Taskbar Magic is disabled the Start Menu does pop up (although sometimes it takes an extra click), are there any other methods for replacing the Windows taskbar?

Ah ok, thanks! That's what I was looking to confirm, as I suspected it might be related to taskbar-magic. There used to be another app that could hide the Windows taskbar called ShyBar, but I can't seem to find it any more.

We are hoping to add the ability to hide the Windows taskbar natively in DF at some point, so I'll definitely let you know if/when we're able to implement that.

In the meantime, you could try a third-party Start menu app like Start10 to see if that works with the taskbar hidden.
