So it's kinda difficult to explain, so here's an example of what I mean:

On Windows 11, if I have 2 Firefox windows up, the icon in the taskbar will have two of the glow boxes behind it, making it easy to know there are 2+ windows open on that monitor.

On DF, there is no indicator at all unless you hover over the app itself, then it just has a long black line that extends from the top of the taskbar to the bottom.

Is there a way to make DF's mirror Windows, or at least be something nicer/seen without hovering the app? Also, I attached a pic of what I mean. :) Thank you so much!!!

Hi Cody,

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Hi Cody,

Thanks for sending that over. I believe we fixed this up in one of our betas, can you try updating and let me know if the issue persists? Here's the link: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks!

I just updated to the Beta and it's still the same. :( The only thing that happens is the taskbar icon moves very slightly to the left.

Note - I am having another issue that I was going to post about regarding the taskbar (on DF taskbars, some pinned apps, such as Notepad/Spotify, work few days and then begin giving me a "Failed to launch this program, path does not exist" error). Could that possibly be related in some way? I have DF on my home office PC and I haven't had either of these problems (tbh I've never had problems with DF, I love you guys haha). I'll wait on your reply before posting about it :)

Final Note - I have a routine set to check this post every day now, so I swear I will not be so late again xD Thank you so much for your help, Owen!

Hi Cody,

Okay strange, I can't seem to reproduce this on my end. Are you running any other 3rd party programs that adjust the taskbar, like Start11?

Are those apps pinned on your taskbar being updated? Many Windows apps include the version number in the file path, so when they get updated to a new version the path changes. Re-pinning the app on the taskbar should fix that up, but we also have this open on our list to look for a more permanent solution.

Thanks for the kind words as well!
