Hi there,

I've been using Display Fusion for a few years and up until I recently reimaged my computer. I have a 49 inch monitor with 2 horizontal splits and use the right side "1.2" as the default task bar. This had been working fine until I reimaged. Setting this up on a new image Windows 11, Split monitoring displays "1.1" for left and "1.2" for right. When I go into advanced settings/force primary monitor ID to "1.2" the default task bar continues to stay on left hand side. I've also verified in the registry that the ID is set to "1.2" Any ideas on how to resolve/workaround for this?

The taskbar polling is pretty CPU intensive, and it looks like you set the "Taskbar Polling Interval" advanced setting to 500, which is 3x the normal amount. If you change that setting back to default and reboot, does that bring the usage down?

my monitors are 24 inch 1080p so dpi should be 91.8.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, even when I enable the Match Condition and select one of my two profiles (I tried both), the trigger does not respond when I change between them.

For example:
With the Match Condition set to 'Profile 1': Changing between 'Profile 1' to 'Profile 2', and even back to 'Profile 1' is not causing a trigger to occur.

Additionally, according to the documentation, the Match Condition is not a requirement for this trigger type. (https://www.displayfusion.com/HelpGuide/Triggers/)

My end goal is to have the trigger activate whenever I change from one profile to any other profile/non-profile. I had assumed leaving the Match Condition unchecked would provide this 'catch all' for profile changes. If this is not the way the trigger works, I'd be open to adding in multiple triggers to cover each scenario, however as reflected above, I cannot get the trigger to work even with the Match Condition.

It looks like the match condition isn't enabled, if you check the "Monitor Profile" box it should fix that up

Trigger on Profile Change not working

I am running Display Fusion Pro 12.0.2 on Win 11 25H2 and created a trigger to call an action upon profile change. The action works fine (tested independently of the trigger), but the trigger never 'triggers' when I change profiles.

The trigger is set up as follows:

Trigger: Enabled
Event: Monitor Profile Changed
Action: A scripted function that sends a webhook to my Home Assistant (when I run/test this action independently, it works fine).

I found an old thread by someone else with this issue, and it appears reloading and re-saving the profiles resolved the issue. Unfortunately, this is not the case for me. The developers likely have it set to a fixed sized, there isn't much we can do there. Do any of the sizing functions do anything on that window in the DisplayFusion Settings > Functions tab?

Thanks for sending that over. Are you running this manually with a hotkey/titlebar button when the window opens, or do you have it set to run automatically with a trigger?

Action dropdown menu in Triggers not loading/opening

When I try to add a action the dropdown menu does not show. it just shows a little white box as seen in the screenshot. however I can use the arrow keys and enter to select items but I cant tell what im selecting when doing that.

let me know how to fix this or what other information I can provide to get this fixed.

typically below 1% with taskbar disabled. the iamges are details while taskbar disabled.

i also do not use DF wallpaper, yet it is clearly loading.

Hi there,

with SonicWall NetExtender 10.3.x (SSLVPN client) I can't manage the window function like move, minimize, etc.

I suppose it can be something about the custom window API implementation, but I would ask if it can be a trick to make my trigger works (a simple "minimize window at first launch").

On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and then click "Clear Log"
Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
Reply with the file attached
Disable debug logging after sending the log

DisplayFusion and Alt+Tab hooks problem with Fallout 76

Symptom: Fallout76 in fullscreen will keep minimizing on launch, over and over again until it randomly works.
Solution: Disable DisplayFusion's Alt+Tab features.

Suggestion: DisplayFusion has Fallout76 in a hooks blocklist since 2023, but it seems it may need some additional love.

End note: I know I could solve this by running Fallout76 in borderless windowed mode, but it doesn't play nice on a 32:9 monitor.

There are some scripted functions to sleep the active monitors and lock the desktop in the Macro library that you can assign to a hotkey. I put a 250ms delay in mine:

BFS.General.Sleep(250); // delay for mouse/keyboard to stop
BFS.General.SleepMonitors();
