I've experienced this as well but haven't narrowed it down to DisplayFusion specifically. Is a fix in the works?

There is a workaround. Check out the attached pic.
I pin that to the taskbar.

Nearly two years old now.
Any update on if or when this might be in the feature set?
Would also be great if it was a field in a Window Position Profile

No unfortunately it's the same, getting rid of the taskbars entirely or closing displayfusion seems to be the only fixes so far.

well I gave up and turned off the displayfusion taskbars and just have the windows multi task bar. It's not as good but at least I can read it. I'll put it back and send it to you.

Interesting, if you disable tray icons (right click an empty spot on the taskbar and head to Multi-Monitor Taskbar > System Tray Icons > Disabled) on all your DisplayFusion taskbars, does that fix it up?

DisplayFusion not working

I've recently developed an issue with DisplayFusion where it will not apply the profile. I have reinstalled DisplayFusion and currently have the most recent beta.

I can arrange the monitors in Windows display settings as well as in DisplayFusion. When I try and hit apply the white circle will spin for about a minute and then take the arranged monitors and put them all back in a straight row. During this process the monitor configuration window title bar will turn white and say not responding. This was logged at 8:42am

If I try and load a profile it acts like it wants to load but the monitors will stay in a straigh line instead of a 3x3 grid with the primary monitor below the 3x3 grid. During this process the monitor configuration window title bar will turn white and say not responding. This was logged at 8:36am. I have previously tried to delete the profile and create a new one but that didn't resolve the issue.

Windows display settings appears to work normally as I can arrange the monitors and the mouse will travel across all of the screens after hitting apply. At this point it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue.

I have attached the log files.

I accomplished this using Home Assistant (specifically using HASS Agent on my computer connected to Home Assistant on another device/server). I have the same setup where one display is in my office and one is my living room TV. This works even when the PC is locked.

On HASS Agent, I setup two commands:
(1) "Gaming_PC_DisplayFusion_OLED_Only"
(2) "Gaming_PC_DisplayFusion_LvngRm_Only"

Each of these commands is Type: "PowerShell"; Entity Type: "Button".

The PowerShell command for (1) "Gaming_PC_DisplayFusion_OLED_Only" is:

& "C:\Program Files\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusionCommand.exe" -monitorloadprofile "OLED Only"

The PowerShell command for (2) "Gaming_PC_DisplayFusion_LvngRm_Only" is:

& "C:\Program Files\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusionCommand.exe" -monitorloadprofile "Living Room TCL Only"

Note that "OLED Only" and "Living Room TCL Only" are the exact names of my DisplayFusion profiles.

Then in Home Assistant, I have the ability to "click" the virtual button that tells HASS Agent to fire the chosen PowerShell command, which in turn tells DisplayFusion to load the chosen profile.

If you get into Home Assistant, you'll find you can trigger these actions from a voice assistant, dashboard, phone shortcut, webhook, tv input selection, etc.,

My final thing to add is feedback to Home Assistant once a profile is loaded, to confirm it worked/errored out... but DisplayFusion is having issues triggering when a profile is changed (I have this issue in an open discussion with the DisplayFusion team).

Here is a DisplayFusion function (to use in lieu with a DisplayFusion trigger(s)) to send notice to Home Assistant upon profile changes:

When I load a profile, the profile does load correctly (correct screen configuration). I also get a little pop-up notification stating that the profile loaded.

However, on the "Monitor Configuration" page, the only thing in the top left is the "Save Profile..." dropdown (see screenshot).

So far, everything has launched on its correct pinned item, nothing with different exe name when right clicked.
Only thing still occurring is the previously mentioned issue with Observatory Core, the pinned taskbar button jumping from its pinned location the end of the taskbar, when the progress bar appears.

Yes the problem appears to be fixed with the taskbars disabled even with displayfusion open.

It reappears immediately after enabling the taskbars again.

This issue does not appear limited to Slay the Spire 2, after disabling the taskbars I've noticed notably more consistent performance in every game I have installed, especially when moving around a cursor which in some games is very very typical like path of exile.

I've also had this exact problem, for years now. I also have three monitors that are unaligned (different resolutions).

So I tried the obvious solutions by turning off 'Prevent mouse cursor from snagging on unaligned xxx', and adding the games to the compatability settings and disabling the sh*t out of it, but to no avail.

Only now, after the n:th google search, while playing a new game that was similarly afflicted, I found this post and tried turning off the 'Prevent mouse cursor from sticking in Sticky corners and ruining all fullscreen games with mouse controlled camera movement', and it seemed to solve the issue!
No longer will I have to close down DF to play games, just to forget to start it again and get my windows randomized!

Although I'm still not sure why preventing the mouse from sticking in corners would make the input jump like the mouse was moved approx. 10 cm instead, I'd also really like to not get stuck constantly when not playing games...
I'm still running 10.1.2 so I don't know if this has been added to the compatability options in the latest version ('Sticky corners, just for you!'), or if the Sticky corners implementation has been 'fixed' somehow.

The current implementation seems to work fine, but it should make an exception if the focused window...
* is fullscreen and borderless?
* has the mouse pointer limited to the window (not true for all games though)
...then let it stick/be.

FYI The two latest games that suffered badly from this were AssCreed Shadows and the new 007 First Light.

Just searched the change log and found this one for v12
Change: "Ignore wrapping, sticking, and snagging on for full screen windows" is now enabled by default for new installs

Change Profile at Lock Screen

I have a desktop which is wired to 2 areas -- a display at my desk, and a TV in the living room.

I have 2 profiles set to display on either the desktop or on my TV (I never use both at the same time), and I have a shortcut set to switch between them (Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Arrow Key) and this works fine when logged in.

However, the primary use case of this setup is to swap the display when I am sat on the couch using my wireless keyboard (or back to my desk when I am sat there) and I usually want to do that right when the computer starts up (if I am sat on the couch and the display is over on my desk it is hard to get past the lock screen)

It seems I cannot use my shortcuts when the screen is locked, does anyone know of any workarounds for this?

A minor issue but with Kaspersky Premium latest 21.25 if you hit the move window to next monitor button, nothing happens.
