On the latest DisplayFusion beta (v11.0 Beta 3), the DisplayFusion taskbars on my non-primary displays randomly disappear (I assume they are probably crashing and not reloading automatically but I don't know for sure). Usually both disappear simultaneously but rarely the taskbar on my 2nd display will disappear while the taskbar on my 3rd display will still be visible. I am running Windows 11 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3155) Enterprise. The amount of time it takes for the taskbars to disappear appears to be random but it happens very frequently (maybe 10 times a day or more). The only way to make the taskbars reappear is to open the DisplayFusion settings, navigate to the 'Taskbar' tab, and either disable/reenable Multi-Monitor Taskbars or change the Taskbar Mode which will then cause the taskbars to reappear. If I had to take a wild guess at the cause of the issue, my 1st guess would be something related to the use of Virtual Desktops. I am a heavy user of that feature and since there are already so many issues with using that feature while using DisplayFusion, my guess is that it is related to that.

As I previously reported (probably years ago now), using the 'Taskbar Mode' 'All taskbars show relevant windows' is completely unusable if you make use of Virtual Desktops in Windows 11. The DisplayFusion taskbars do not properly keep track of which virtual desktop a particular window is on, causing a plethora of buggy activity, making the feature entirely unusable. The only way I've found to make DisplayFusion Multi-Monitor Taskbars work properly while using Virtual Desktops is to set the 'Taskbar Mode' to 'Windows taskbar shows all windows, DisplayFusion shows relevant windows'. While this certainly is not my preferred setup, it is the only way I've found to continue using DisplayFusion Multi-Monitor taskbars while utilizing Virtual Desktops. Obviously, this bug is not the reason for me authoring this post, but it would be great to hear from the support team as to whether this issue is ever going to be addressed. Windows 11 isn't exactly 'new' at this point and there is plenty of open source documentation/code available which properly describes and documents Windows 11 Virtual Desktop API (even if it is a mess and not properly documented and/or opened up to developers by Microsoft themselves).

Please let me know what additional information you need from me to help diagnose this "disappearing taskbar" issue (or the Virtual Desktop issue if that is something you all are willing to actually try to fix now). Like I said, I haven't been able to pin down any specific behavior which actually causes the taskbars to disappear but if I do notice any more specific causes, I will be sure to report back here with my findings. Thank you!
