Having logging enabled will definitely cause performance issues, we've added a bunch of extra logging in our latest beta.

I think I've narrowed it down to HWinfo64.

I've been running Nightingale for 1½ hours without any problems on beta 8, with all my normal apps running, except HWi (I know I have a lot, but I "need" them all ;) )

I've tried with "no apps" but HWi, and after 30 min-ish the problem showed itself (timestamp 10:00).
This is sadly a bit funny, because I sought out DF, because of the option to have Taskbar-Tray on 2nd monitor so I could have HWi temps on CPU & GPU visible even in a fullscreen game :o

On that note, is there any chance for a DF-lite, with tray on 2nd screen,snap-windows and move-window-button only?

Again as I'm writing this after exiting game, there is lag with the lettering appearing.

Couldn't log it, because pc kept switching between DRG and DF-log to an extend that I could not play the game.

It took about 5-10 minutes before it started to lag, so timestamp should be about or just after 16:12 (if that is what you asked for)

Just after compiling the log I killed DF and the issue went away ::)

  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

This showed itself after a while when typing in browser searchbar, the characters appears slowly and/or with a delay.
I noticed this because I was searching for help because my avatar in my FPS game would keep running after I stopped inputing 'forward' (or any direction), this is not a good feature when running around in high places and not wanting to drop down :laugh:

Problem dissapeared af reverting back to DF Pro 11.1.1, but then I saw that DF is not showing correct windows version in the 'about' (24H2/25H2).

I haven't tested any other beta or with any other browser, but when it affects games also, it can't be just my flavour of browser.

We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 12.0 (Beta 8) is now available for download! This new beta fixes some issues from the 11.1.1 release and the 11.2 betas. We have also decided to rename this to the bigger 12.0 release instead of 11.2 because we have made some big updates. There are a ton of fixes in this beta so we welcome any feedback. Thanks!
