I only use WallpaperEngine and the Wallpapers are fixed, they do not rotate. Just reenabled the DF "Allow DisplayFusion to manage the Desktop Wallpaper" looks to be not conflicting anymore with the final version. WallpaperEngine will re-apply the wallpaper after DisplayFusion has changed it, so a flash there will be expected. so far I have no problems with the Beta 9 except one thing. The application icons and the selector for the applications not shown on the taskbar is only available on the windows taskbar. All other taskbars only show the clock, audio, network and the microphone symbol.

The desktop backgrounds from Wallpaper Engine flicker "reapply" every few seconds. Disable "Allow DisplayFusion to manage the Desktop Wallpaper" in DF fixed it.

We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 12.0 (Beta 9) is now available for download! This new beta fixes some issues from the 11.1.1 release and the 11.2 betas. We have also decided to rename this to the bigger 12.0 release instead of 11.2 because we have made some big updates. There are a ton of fixes in this beta so we welcome any feedback. Thanks!
DisplayFusion 12.0 (Beta 9) Changes
  • Change: Removed "Disable DisplayFusionService Logging" advanced setting, as the Settings UI can't write to HKLM
  • Change: "Ignore wrapping, sticking, and snagging on for full screen windows" is now enabled by default for new installs
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where hooks would cause game framerates to drop in certain games (e.g. The Finals) when moving the mouse around quickly
  • Fix: Task Manager tray icon shows up in the DisplayFusion taskbary system tray again
  • Fix: Process Explorer now shows all tray icons in the DisplayFusion taskbar system tray
  • Fix: Resolved a monitor padding issue when switching display orientation
  • Fix: Monitor Fading no longer unfades everything when desktop is focused
  • Fix: Wallpaper auto-fix no longer re-prompts every few seconds
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with the Wallpaper preview being blank when spanning an image
  • Fix: No longer shows duplicate taskbar entries for Free Manga Downloader (FMD) app
  • Fix: Resolved a performance issue on systems that are running ESET antivirus and Firefox
