What I mean by 'unresponsive' is the main Windows Taskbar is completely missing as are all backgrounds and desktop icons.

Just recovered from this issue by shutting down DF, and restarting the Explorer process from task manager (it was using over 10GB of RAM).

Win11 25H2, fully patched.

Very appreciated improvement! I think changing wallpaper stretched and resized across multiple monitors of differing sizes also seems to be a little faster.
