Late reply to this - but thanks! Turns out I needed to do more than just switch primary monitor, but also to switch off the secondary monitor at the same time.

Managed to set up two monitor profiles where I have one monitor enabled and the other disabled, and vice versa. Then with a specific hotkey for each I can switch between monitors very easily.

So, worth the upgrade!

I'm not sure why Windows wouldn't be keeping your selected one though. Even though you've only got one colour profile, have you selected it and chosen "Set as Default Profile" in the Windows Colour Management settings?
Thanks for the tip! Worked great! Almost have my dual displays set up just the way I want.

But...the lone remaining issue I have is color calibration. I have identical ASUS VG248QE Led monitors, and I downloaded color calibrated ICC profiles off the web. The issue I'm having is each time I switch my primary monitor, I forced to go into the advanced window settings and re-set the default color profiles to the ICC file I downloaded. Not sure why this is happening, since I deleted all other color profiles. I've never had this issue before when running only single monitors.

Is there a setting, perhaps an advanced one, that keeps the color calibration the same whenever I switch primary monitors?
