In the Monitor Configuration window, just click the Splits and Padding button to get the new configuration options. You can start by using the Preset Splits button, and then tweak it from there.

Also i know a while ago you were having trouble hiding the primary taskbar, what happens if you: set vertical split to 2, and then adjust the code so the bottom 'virtual screen' is only 1 px tall ]]>
