Unfortunately this might cause the desktop icons to get jumbled up.

The good news is the DisplayFusion 4.0 Beta versions have a Desktop Icon Profiles feature that allows you to save and load your desktop icon layouts. The final version of DisplayFusion 4.0 should be available soon, but if you'd like to try the Beta in the meantime, you can grab it here: http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

At the moment, the Desktop Icon Profiles have to be loaded manually by selecting them from the context menu, or by setting up a HotKey for the profile. In the future, we're planning to add the capability to assign a Desktop Icon Profile to a Monitor Profile, so that it will be automatically applied.

I have two profiles. Profile A is two monitors, profile B disconnects the two monitors and moves everything to monitor 3 in another location. When I go back to profile A, my two monitors come to life and all open programs move to my primary monitor, but all the windows desktop icons are on my secondary monitor (extended). So I have to disconnect the second monitor, then re-set it as extended, and I am back to normal. I also notice that while both Windows (identify) and DF show all monitors correctly as 1,2,3, in the monitor profile manage window, the attached monitor numbers are incorrect. I went into regedit, but it simply lists monitors 1,2,3, so I don't know what that means.
