He Keith,

It's not quite that simple unfortunately, when the I reported the issue originally the shortcuts appeared on neither monitor. I have just switched on the 2nd monitor today, (it's actually a TV so I don't usually have it on) and lo and behold there are the shortcuts I created yesterday. So, ok there's progress even though I've not done anything different however I still don't think this is working right.

The shortcuts only appear on Monitor 2, and the option of moving them to Monitor 1 via the interface is greyed out. The only option presented is to move them to monitor 2 where they already exist. Also the representation of the 2 monitors at the top of the interface, is that correct in my screenshot? Should I be able to select them individually and that determines which monitor I am adding the shortcuts too? Clicking the monitor 1, does not select it, but monitor 2 does seem to be selectable.

Hi Keith,

Thanks for the response, I've had not any success however. As you suggested I've taken the command line parameter from the working chrome desktop shortcuts I created. I've then edited the existing taskbar shortcuts that I created with DP. I've added it in to the command line arguments field e.g

--appid="asdfasfdasf"

But I still just launch a default page when I launch the taskbar shortcut.

I notice you have the option to "Add Website" as a taskbar icon, presumably this should perform the same function as I'm trying to achieve or does it serve a different purpose?

I do however wonder whether there is something else at fault though as when I use the "Add Website" feature in DP e.g www.netflix.com nothing appears on either monitor taskbar but it does appear in the list of taskbar shortcuts in DP.
Unfortunately there isn't a way for DisplayFusion to get those custom URLs because the process loses its command line paramaters once its launched. To work around this, grab the command line parameters from the desktop shortcut (usually --appid="asdfasfdasf" or something like that). Then on your Chrome shortcut, add that to the Command Line Parameters box and you should be all set.
Hope that helps!

Hi,

I created some "application" shortcuts from Chrome by using the add to desktop & open in new window feature for a few frequently used websites, Netlfix, Amazon Prime etc. I have then launched these and whilst they were open pinned them to the taskbar.

However once I close them down and launch them from the taskbar they have forgotten the url and just launch my default startup page unlike the shorcuts I created from Chrome which are on the desktop and still remember the right pages.

Seems like a fairly standard usage requirement, have I missed something somewhere?

Cheers
