This is an unfortunate side effect of DisplayPort monitors disconnecting themselves from the computer when entering sleep mode. Windows detects the monitor disconnect/reconnect, and it does a full monitor detection, causing the windows to shuffle around. We have a Scripted Function that may help with this. Here's how to set it up:

On the DisplayFusion Settings > Functions tab, click the "Download Scripted" button

Double-click the script named "Save/Restore Window Positions on Sleep/Resume"

Give it a key combination and click OK

Click Apply and press the hotkey to start the script

You'll have to run it manually the first time. If it seems to work for you, let me know, and I'll tell you how to make that script startup automatically with Windows.

Thanks!

I have some apps opened in my secondary monitor. Whenever the monitors wake up after a period of non use of computer, I see the apps and taskbar items start to move from the secondary monitor to the primary monitor. This issue started when I upgraded my primary monitor to a new monitor (1680 x 1080 resolution) and to displayport cable. This happened on version 6.x. I upgraded to 7.2 and it's still happening. I am using Windows 8.1 64 bit.

Any ideas?
