Click on Taskbar in the left hand panel and from there you should see the checkbox for showing the tasbar in front of full screen programs that dont have the focus, uncheck it. Below that is a slider to set the amount of transparency you want on the DF taskbars, set it and click on Apply to test then OK when you are happy with the results.

Thanks,
I actually want the taskbar above full screen applications.
I don't mind the transparency, I was merely reporting that despite being at 100% opacity, the taskbar is still transparent. It also doesn't match visually to the Windows taskbar.

Quote:
Thanks for the feedback!

Bugs:
1. I've put this on our list to see if we can add a blur to the DF taskbar.
2. I've put an item on our feature request list for an option to disable transparency completely on the DF taskbar.
3. DisplayFusion doesn't have any control over what the Windows taskbar does when a full screen application is running

Feature requests:
1. I'm not sure if this is possible, but I will put it on our feature request list.
2. There is a workaround to replace the Windows taskbar with the DF taskbar. It's not supported, but I think it works for most folks: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/display-fusion-makes-razer-synapse-20-invinsible/?ID=91580010-ead5-40c4-874b-2ce9075b05af#first

Thanks, I looked at that link, but I think it was wrong.
I did some searching and found this though: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/anyway-to-make-the-df-pro-taskbar-override-the-windows-taskbar/?ID=3d0cad5b-2ab0-4b2d-acbc-cd2b45389c38#6 and it worked great! Even does the "show over fullscreen applications" function.

An additional suggestion for that would be to open the original taskbar context menu on a shift-right click or something. Open Shell does that with the start menu (right click opens Open Shell menu, shift-right click opens original advanced menu, same as Win+X).

So, I recently spent some time trying to upgrade to Windows 10 on my primary desktop from Windows 7.
I didn't see these on the known list, so I thought I'd mention them.

First, I want to say I wasn't sure if DisplayFusion would be very useful, since Windows 10 has native multi-monitor taskbars. However I did have one huge irritation, which is the hold-over from Windows 8 charms, that sticky corner.
Once I found that option in DF settings to disable it, it sealed its fate as always being useful to me.

That said, I'm having some taskbar issues.
If you'd like these as separate issues, I can open new discussions for them.

1) The secondary DF taskbars aren't the same visually from the primary one. Meaning, the primary Windows taskbar actually applies blurring to the contents behind it. This translates to a lighter taskbar, compared to the DF taskbars. With the black theme, the DF taskbars are noticably darker than the primary one. I can supply screenshots if desired.

2) Related to the above, the DF taskbar opacity of 100% isn't actually fully opaque. In addition "disable transparency on all taskbars" is unchecked and disabled.

3) In Windows 7, the primary taskbar would appear over the top of full screen applications when they lost focus. I don't remember if that was specifically a DF setting, or native to Windows.
However the Windows 10 taskbar does not do that. The DF taskbars still do, as I have that "Show taskbar in front of full screen applications when they lose focus" checked. I've seen a few other posts in here related to that, but I don't know what the resolution is.

Aside from that, I do have some feature suggestions:
1) For various windows, the ability to see a dividing line between the non-client and client areas (where the bottom of the title bar is). I know it's possible to edit the theme file for it, but it's not easily applicable to all machines.

2) If the above taskbar issues cannot be solved, I'd like an option to replace the primary taskbar with a DF taskbar.

Thanks!
