In Win 10, DisplayFusion should definitely just use the translucent gray/black colour, like the Windows Alt+Tab Handler does. Can you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

• Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
• Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
• Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)

i "downgraded" my laptop to win8.1 from the win10 insider preview i had installed, so i can properly update my license to win10 (this machine doesn't have DF installed)

i made the mistake of logging in with the same Microsoft account which I'm using on my main machine.
so what happened? probably a setting sync.
and what *really* happened?
the background color of alt+tab changed to the color selected in the OOBE.

it took me a while to figure out that DF's alt+tab handling was causing this, is there any way to get the defaults back for that?
