We haven't found a way around this, but as a workaround, you can change the Taskbar Mode (Settings > Taskbar tab) to one of the "Windows taskbar shows all" options. In addition to doing that, as you mentioned, you could replace the Windows taskbar with the DF taskbar. It's not a supported feature, but should work on most systems. The latter is the primary.

Using win-tab will only show open windows on whichever display the display fusion taskbar is on.

Is there a way to correct this behavior?

Lacking that, is there a way to replace my Winndows Taskbar with a DisplayFusion one?
