As for the Scheduled Tasks, here are some more detailed instructions:

• Create your Wallpaper Profiles in DisplayFusion
• Navigate to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks
• Click Add Scheduled Task, and the Scheduled Task Wizard will open
• Click Next, then Browse, and enter C:\Program Files\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusionCommand.exe in the File name box and click Open
• Type the name of the task (i.e. Change Wallpaper to Sunset), choose Daily, and click Next
• Enter the time you want the task to run (i.e. 6:00 PM) and click Next
• Enter the username and password you use for logging into the computer and click Next
• Enable the "Open advanced properties" checkbox and click Finish
• In the Run box of the task's Properties window, add the following to the very end (after the closing quotation mark, note that the part in quotes should match the exact Wallpaper Profile name): -wallpaperloadprofile "Sunset"
• Click OK

Do the same steps for the other times of the day/profiles and you should be all set! It seems like a lot of steps but it's not too bad. It's pretty easy to follow along when you're in the Scheduled Task Wizard

As for changing the wallpaper at a certain time of day, you can currently do this using Windows Scheduled Tasks and the DisplayFusion command line tool. Here's a quick run-down of how to do it. Let me know if you need more detailed instructions.

• Create Wallpaper Profiles for each time of day that you want to switch
• Create a Windows Scheduled Task for each time of day that runs displayfusioncommand.exe (located in the DisplayFusion Program Files folder) with the -wallpaperloadprofile switch. (i.e. C:\Program Files\DisplayFusion\displayfusioncommand.exe -wallpaperloadprofile "Sunset")

i also thought of another cool idea, while you're working on this beta version, i figured i'd throw it in (hopefully) before it's too late. instead of just changing images randomly, i'd really like to be able to change them in order. and then i thought even further, it would be awesome to be able to set displayfusion to change to a certain wallpaper at a certain time. i.e., have it change to a sunset picture around six pm, and then set it to change to a night picture around eight pm. and then maybe a morning picture around six am. could something like that be done? reduce (by michael brandt, might be listed by alternate skin name, for xp only)

i also usually use just basic visualstyles for xp, a couple of them are called 'abraxis' and 'xoddx' (all by wb skinner). and the transparency issue i have with them, is when i set the displayfusion taskbar to transparent, the main windows taskbar doesn't follow, and stays opaque.
